Great outcomes I have achieved and continue to improve upon:
The businesses I led consistently delivered profitable organic and acquisitive growth ahead of the market. My responsibilities included European project roles as well as Country Manager.
Transformed the largest Region within a UK Builders Merchant into the most profitable Region, taking it to over 200 sites and double-digit returns.
Took over a 200m loss-making business. Changed the business model and repositioned the brand. Over a period of 7 years, added over 100 greenfield sites and acquired 13 businesses to generate 500m turnover with the highest ROI in the UK Group.
Transformed a historical lossmaker firstly to generate cash and then into profitable growth. Bought 7 business units together under one Board. Changed the business model and repositioned the brand, delivering market leadership in value-added raw glass and being one of the UK’s largest façade installers.
I have worked on several sale and buy mandates with Azets.
How I get involved and my style of support when working with others:
Focus on added value. I seek to build effective relationships built on trust, openness, and a desire to help others. I am not afraid to challenge but do it respectfully. Naturally drawn to situations where a fix is needed and where there are opportunities for growth. My style is to engage, include and align. I don’t have all the answers but have quite a few T-shirts. Results matter.
